The property market in Spain is flat, everybody knows that, and everyone is talking about it. Why did this happen? Well, several reasons, but one of the main problems, is that there’s simply too much built last 10 years, and there’s less demand. It doesn’t help that the euro is very expensive for the Brits, which are the main buyers for Spanish Properties.

So what to do with about the current situation. You could just wait until the storm blows over, but that will take several years, before the demand for properties will rise and the property prices go back to the original value.

We believe we can help people with their sales problem, by renting out their property in Spain until it’s sold.
By offering a service where people can advertise their property in Spain, for renting as well as for sales, we can relief the pain of waiting for the sale.
But there are more advantages to this solution. People can also rent before they buy. Do you normally buy, just after seeing the property several times? Strange, isn’t it? Why not give people the chance to really feel what it’s like to live in the house, before they buy. If they buy, maybe you can make a deal about refunding the rental price, and if they don’t buy, you can at least cover the costs.

If the property is up to standards and can be rented out easily, you can also decide to rent another property, and have your own property to let. This gives a great amount of freedom, and the rental income compensates the monthly rent for the other property.

Sounds too good to be true?
We have years of experience on the rental market and get bookings for properties in Spain all year round. We focus on potential tennants from the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK and see a large increase of enquiries and bookings every year.

Murcia is located on the South East coast of Spain on the Mediterranean sea. The are numerous reason to visit or move to the region of Murcia but let’s start with 21…

Fantastic weather
The weather is exceptionally good, all year round. This region has an average of 315 days of sun per year and the lowest temperature is 18 degrees Celsius in the winter and in the summer it’s between 30-35 degrees Celsius. The amount of rainfall per year is less than one-fourth of the rainfall of Northern Europe

Low Property prices
The Property prices have dropped in this region, last few years, even though the prices were already lower than most other regions in Spain. This makes the region an excellent place to buy as an investment property and/or for letting as holiday villa.

Best golf courses
Murcia has some of the best Golf courses of Spain. It’s already named “The Golf Capital of Spain” because it’s has over 40 golf courses. Some of these golf courses are designed by Jack Nicklaus for the Polaris World Resorts.

Tourism
Even though Murcia is well know by Spanish tourists, it’s not an area that is crowded with foreigners, like e.g. the Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol. You will still find a lot of Spanish who don’t even speak English, which makes the area typically Spanish.

Laid back
Murcianos are hard workers, but they like to enjoy their siesta or holiday. They work for a living, but they don’t live to work. Their family is the most important part of their life and if possible they will grab every opportunity to invite their friends and family for a great Paella.

Beautiful beaches
The Costa Calida has about 250 km of coastline with lots of beautiful sandy beaches. Looking for a safe beach for your children? Visit one of the beaches of the Mar Menor or Mazarron, with it’s shallow waters. There’s a large variety of beaches with the popular beaches of La Manga, where it can be crowded in the summer of you can find some coves or secluded (nudist)beaches near Bolnuevo.

No traffic jams
Except for the times around the siesta or when people go home from their jobs, the roads are quiet. Especially if you take the toll roads, which nobody seems to use. There are also a lot of nice roads to take for trips through this area, e.g. through the nature reserve Sierra Espuña.

The best Tapas
On nearly every corner of the street you can find a Tapa bar. The tapas were originally used for covering your glass against the flies, but these days, the Spanish go to the bars with friends or family to grab a quick bite. Tapas are served in small portions and available in all sorts: made from potato (Patatas Bravas,Tortilla Española), pork/chicken/lamb/beef with salsas or tapas made with fish, like calamaris.

Cheap flights to Murcia
There are cheap flights available to Murcia airport called San Javier. Some of the low fare airlines are: Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2. Booking in advance is usually cheaper, especially for the summer.

Historical cities
Murcia’s history goes way back in time, and you can still see a lot of evidence from the roman times, e.g. in Cartagena. The large Roman theater is currently being restored into the original layout which gives an idea of it’s importance in those days. Cartagena also has a legacy for it’s maritime activities which is still visible by the large Sea wall near the new marina. The City of Murcia was of great importance in the time where the Moorish ruled over the area. Evidence can see be seen in the Moorish Patio in the former Casino of Murcia.

Healthy climate
More than 315 days of sun per year, a very low humidity, and clean air make this area one of best in the world to live or to spend a well deserved holiday. There is no polluting industry or lots of traffic, so people with allergies or rheumatic diseases will definitely enjoy this climate.

Business opportunities
Compared to other well developed regions, the region of Murcia is still a rising economy. Because of the rising popularity with foreign immigrants, there are more new businesses and therefore more opportunities. In this area it’s still possible to setup something new, something that’s not been done before.

Mud baths
The mudbaths of Lo Pagan (North side of the Mar Menor) are well known for it’s therapeutic value. The water contains a high percentage of calcium, fluoride, potassium, magnesium, chlorine, sulphur and high level of salt. The composition of the water, make it an ideal location for people who suffer from skin diseases, rheumatism or arthritis.

Fiestas
Every city and village has it’s own fiestas and there’s a variety of regional fiestas in Murcia. Here are some of the best fiestas:
• Semana Santa in Lorca
• Carnaval in Aguilas
• Cartagineses y Romanos in Cartagena

Great Diving area
The Costa Calida is a great area for beginning or advanced divers and it has many diving centres. You can find diving centres in L’Azohia, Puerto de Mazarron, Aguilas and Cabo de Palos.

Whalewatching
Enjoy the views of dolphins and whales with ones of the excursions on a boat trip. The trips take you around the regions coastline to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat as well as their migratory routes in the Mediterranean Sea.

Hiking trails
Winter, Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit Murcia if you like walking. There are trails that go partly through towns, beaches, through deserted mines or straight through the nature reserve Sierra Espuña.

Terra Natura Murcia
Terra Natura in Murcia is a wildlife park of 165,445 m², divided in two themed area’s: African Savannah and the Iberian Peninsula. Terra Natura Murcia has over 300 animals from 50 different species, three of which are in serious danger of extinction. If you need some cooling of from the sun, you can also visit Aqua natura in Murcia, which has some fantastic water chutes for the whole family.

Nueva Condomina and Thader
Some of the largest shopping malls in Spain are located in Murcia, just off the motorway. Nueva Condomina is the largest with a surface of 72.000M2, with shops, restaurants and bars, and 15 cinemas. Thader is slightly smaller, but is still one of the larger Shopping malls in the area with over 125 shops, bars and restaurants.
